Notes:
flowerPlanted shrub and self-sown seedlings. Seed imported by Ron Duncan, nurseryman, New Plymouth, in 1960s.Planted shrub 0.6 m tall. Seedlings locally common & frequent. Flowers' tepal tube pale yellow, c. 12 mm long, constricted across middle. Anthers 8, filaments very short, attached at mouth of tube between "scales". Floral lobes 4, spread 6-7 mm pale yellow. Leaves flat above, somewhat keeled below, with small apiculus. Stomata both surfaces; O veins visible; glabrous. Stems with long white anthrorse hairs. A 'gland' (?) at proximal base of petiole. Ovary flattened, oblong, hairs at tip, style assymetrical.
