Habitat:
Modified primary and secondary podocarp-beech forest on a poorly drained elevated terrace (glacial-outwash and alluvial origin) along the toe of a riparian scarp, north side of Lottery River.
Notes:
Extent of Coprosma pedicellata population: Approx 5 large adults (up to 5 m tall, typically leaning) and approx 50 saplings (c. 1 m to 2 m tall), localised and scattered over about 2 ha. Violet fruit. Protection: Currently suppressed by livestock (sheep and cattle), proposed for protection (including fencing and destocking) by way of a QEII Open Space covenant.
