Habitat:
Patch between rocky outcrop. Currently well grazed down by cattle. (Melicytus aff. aplinus)/Agrostis capillaris - Rumex acetosella - Rytidosperma sp. - Hieracium pilosella - Trifolium arvense - (Dactylis glomerata) - (Leontodon taraxacoides) - (Verbascum virgatum) - (Echium vulgare) - (Carex breviculmis).
Notes:
The culms are starting to elongate but they are wiry rather than slender. Long callus but no puckering.

Lower glume = 11 mm, Upper glume = 10 mm, Lemma = 3 mm,
Lobe = 5 mm, Awn = 9 mm
Fls. = 3. Leaf blade and sheath glabrous. Fine longer hairs on pedicel margins.
