Notes:
fruit1st finding of this species in the reserve. One robust tussock, leaves shining above, very harsh, edges turned down. Culms arching, to 2 m tall. Fruits shiny black when ripe (brownish ones here immature), pendulous on withered floral parts, nut > 5 mm long. Plant growing between gravel loop track and Kaimatira Rd fence.
