Habitat:
Growing beside a small stream near the outer edge of an elevated river terrace under scattered Prumnopitys taxifolia, Kunzea aff. ericoides, and Nothofagus solandri var solandri.
Notes:
About 15 plants were noted, though only a small area was checked and there is scope for more. Plants ranges between 0.5 m and 1.5 m tall, with female plants carrying unripe (green) fruit.Protection: The population occurs within a reserve and there was only minor sign of animal impacts (deer or feral pigs) in the locality. Exotic broom (Cytisus scoparius) occurs on the scarp rim and face nearby.
