Very similar to Plag. calcarata Herz. (Trans. R.Soc. N.Z. Vol 68. p41: 1938) which Mrs. Hodgson reduced to Plag. arbuscula in her revision of the genus in NZ in Trans. R.S.N.Z. vol 73 p 4 [ pt 4, p. 282]: 1944. See p. 282 in this for note on this specimen. It has the broader lf apex of Plag. stephensoniana but not the branching of that or of Plag. arbuscula but is probably one of the forms that could be included in Herzog's P. calcarata. i.e. now Plag. arbuscula.
