Near base of coastal cliff, on old talus, fairly moist steep site.
Notes:
Herb with stout main stem and primary root on older plants. Leaves ± succulent, shining above, paler beneath and slightly arachnose often (at least when young). Involucre 7-8 mm long. Capitula 7-9 mm diam. Rays 12-14 (few heads counted), 2-3 mm long, soon revolute. A few plants only and not seen elsewhere.
