Boulders piled to make a sea-wall, on coastal side of walkway; in crevices with little soil. Vegetation sparse but this the most common species; also with seedlings of M. kermadecensis W.R.B.Oliv. (#5779 [CHR 610021]) + Cyrtomium falcatum.
