Notes:
Differs from Ranunculus gracilipes s.s. in obvious dark patch on petal above nectary, nectary full petal width, & earlier flowering period (R. gracilipes s.s. not in flower at location) & smaller size. Root stock branched flowers yellow with dark eye. R. gracilipes "dark eye" in field notes.
