Notes:
Fruiting specimens. Most fruit still immature but some cones ripe. Aril white, nut dark black. Heavy fruiting this season. Specimens from a single isolated tree 2 m x 5 m.Note old fruit (previous seasons) obviously very few birds to help disperse Phyllocladus around cliffs - this could be a threat & may explain its total absence from the Plateau.
