Notes:
Tree 8-9 m high with dense dark green canopy; trunk with bark in large dark grey-brown plates and lacking a hammered effect. Leaves glaucescent beneath except for midrib and margins. Male strobili in spikes behind shoot growing points. Related closely to Prumnopitys taxifolia.
