Notes:
Sucker shoots to c. 75-80 cm high. Shoots shining, white-flecked. Leaves green to glaucescent beneath, shining on both sides when very young & tinged brown; mature leaf upper surface dark green with midrib and main veins pink-tinged towards base. Petioles reddish-pink above, Leaf lamina not very scented when crushed. Similar sucker shoots extend over many square metres; the parent tree having been removed at least 1-2 years ago. Possibly Populustrichocarpa Hook.
