Habitat:
Sand dunes immediately south of Rakaia Huts approx > 500 plants scattered along a narrow strip of approx 2 km of remnant sand dune and extending onto undeveloped fringe along wave cut bank. Common species predominately exotic, especially marram grass and lupins. Notable native species present include a small patch of pingao, Colobanthus brevisepalus, Raoulia australis, Atriplex buchananii, Raoulia australis, Carex pumila, Poa cita, Muehlenbeckia complexa.
