on grey wacke colluvium. Growing along access track in Silver tussock - scattered matagouri and Coprosma propinqua shrubland - planted in Pinus radiata. Aspect NW.

Grecian ThistleThese plants may have been brought in on machinery as this is outside the usual area I have sighted Grecian Thistle (usually on farmland on limestone around Omihi and Scargill Valley)
