Notes:
Erect herb. Basal leaves withered by flowering time. Leaf lamina ± deep shining green above. Inflor. erect, downy, including outside of calyx, mauve-flushed. Bracteoles c. ⅓ of distance from pedicel base. Sepals 1-1.3 cm long, elliptic or ovate-elliptic, mauve or greenish-mauve; spur 0.9-1 cm long, curved, obtuse. Larger 2 petals c. 1.2 x 0.7 cm, obovate, crumpled, mauve, curving downwards; smaller lateral 2 petals erect, narrow. Filaments purple. Cult. as this species and said to regenerate prolifically.
