Notes:
Herb forming dense stand of trailing and rooting stems to c. 50 cm high. Leaf lamina ± shining above. Flowers very few at this time, corolla deep mauve-blue; tube c. 1.5 cm long; limb c. 4-4.5 cm across the ± obliquely obovate lobes; apex ± truncate. Stamens included. Follicles fairly freely produced, to c. 7 cm long, diverging, shining. Seeds to c. 1 cm long, narrow oblong, black. A large stand many meters long.
