Notes:
Cormous herb, deciduous. Stems and leaves erect. Perianth tube 1-1.5 cm long, white, very slender. Perianth limb 4.5-6 cm long when expanded, white with rose band along middle of reverse; centre of limb deep crimson (in bud perianth limb rose-tipped); length of outer tepals c. 3 x 1.6 cm, broad elliptic; inner tepals white except at base and a little smaller. Stamens with free, dark purple filaments; anthers > filaments. Has appeared in a few places in the garden in places where it was not deliberately planted.
