Rambling shrub with dense smothering habit when climbing into bright light. Leaves foetid when bruised, deep shining green above. Panicles large, dense, many-flowered. Calyx 2-3 mm long. Corolla light mauve, 2.5-3.5 cm diam. across the triangular-acuminate lobes, these deep mauve towards base. Common in lower middle part of Magnificent Gully with a number of patches, visible readily at present because of the dense covering of flowers in open patches.
