Habitat:
Grassy area by small stream.
Notes:
Large clump-forming herb to c. 1 m high with petioles and peduncles ± fleshy. Leaf lamina shining beneath. Inflor. > leaves. Spathe to c. 30 x 24 cm, widespreading and ± reflexing and undulate & distally green, rest white, with irregular transition zone. Spadix 8 cm long, slightly tapering, yellow, obtuse. Apparently forming fruits. A number of large clumps, presumably having originally been planted in the area.
