Annual tap-rooted herb. Plant bushy and almost all converted to flower heads on this date, foul-smelling. Inflor. subglobose or globose; bracts spiny. Flowers small; calyx lobes spiny. Corolla c. 12 mm long; upper part blue; lobes c. 2.5 mm long. A number of plants.
