Habitat:
Exposed ridge top near base of small conifer.
Notes:
Prostrate herb wih creeping or somewhat decumbent, dark brownish-purple stems. Leaves purple-tinged beneath, with red marginal glandular dots (seen in transmitted light). Fruit 5-8 mm diam., subglobose and slightly depressed around old style, deep purple; flesh white. Abundant.
