Notes:
Subshrub 30-40 cm high, rhizomatous. Shoots 2-lined. Leaves dull above, glaucescent beneath. Flowers erect. Corolla yellow; petals c. 10 x 6 mm, broad elliptic-obovate. Old fruit 8-10 mm diam., almost globose, dark brown. Fruiting sepals reflexed. Uncommon.
