Talus mound at base of sheer volcanic face. Wild at least now.
Notes:
Succulent plant forming large mats. Leaves to c. 9 x 1 cm, trigonous, medium green. Flowers 4.5-5 cm across and 1.2-1.4 cm across the obscurely angled receptacle apex. Sepals very unequal. Petals mainly 1.6-2.2 cm long, pale pink. Stamens with whitish filaments and yellow anthers. Stigmas long, green tinged orange. Possibly originally planted at this site.
