Hillslope extensively planted in cacti, aloes etc and sprayed for weeds.Planted cacti, aloes and other succulent plants. Few weeds between the plantings, except Arenaria which is common.

flower/fruitCorolla white, densely and finely pubescent on abaxial surfaces, glistening adaxially. Petal tips curved inwards as small hooks. Petals thick, rigid. Sepal lobes blunt, thick with thin margins, > corolla tube. Suckering shrub - owner wants to remove/control it before it spreads more. Patch c. 4 m diameter. Leaves glabrous, rugose-bullate; dark shiny green above, paler & dull below. Young stems lenticellate, stems to 1.5 m tall. Spread all vegetative? Photos taken of flowers.
