Valley bottom, in mountain beech forest.
Notes:
Rhizomes creeping. Stipes dark, hairy, to at least 6 cm long. Frond lamina 3-pinnate, to c. 6 cm long, rather narrow; rachises hairy, narrowly winged, often undulately so. Ultimate segments linear to narrow oblong, curving downwards when coll; midvein dark purplish beneath, glabrous or nearly so. Sori on short distal segments, indusial flaps to c. 1.5 mm long, broad ovate or rhombic-ovate, smooth; margins entire.
