Notes:
Prostrate, mat-forming herb with stems rooting at nodes, very slender stems ascending at flowering stage with erect inflor., pubescent. Sepals 3-4 mm, narrow elliptic, conspicuously ciliate corolla 9-10 mm across, deep blue with darker blue veins and white eye; 4 petals c. 4-5 x 4.5-5.5 mm ± subreniform, tending suborbicular, 1 petal slightly distant, 4-5 x 2.2-2.5 mm, broad elliptic. Stamens with deep blue filaments and anthers except former proximally. Style deep to light blue-mauve. Fruit does not form. An aggressive coloniser of bare soil.
