Habitat:
Garden border, ± spontaneous.
Notes:
Sprawling herb with very slender ascending stems. Inflor. erect; pubescent. Sepals 3.5-4 mm, narrow elliptic, ciliate. Corolla 9-10 mm across, deep blue with dark blue veins and white eye; 4 petals c. 4-5 x 6-7 mm, tending suborbicular, 1 petal slightly distant, c. 4 x 3 mm broad elliptic. Stamens with deep blue filaments and anthers, except proximally. Style deep blue-mauve. No sign of fruits forming. A rampant plant in the garden because of rooting at the nodes freely.
