Notes:
Succulent-stemmed plant, the stems curving downwards, with pale lenticels. Leaves not shining above or white-spotted but spots said to be on young plants. Inflor. orange-red, ± pendent. Male flowers 4-merous, outer pair petals c. 10 x 6-7 mm, broad elliptic or elliptic-ovate; inner pair 6-8 x 2-3 mm, narrow elliptic. Female flowers 5-merous; segments nearly equal, 6-8 x 3-5 mm, elliptic or ovate-ellipitc. Ovary wings equal, somewhat pinkish-orange.
