Notes:
Perennial herb with erect, hollow, stems c. 2 m high; stems brownish-green and faintly mottled lower down. Inflor. to c. 12 cm across, strongly convex. Florets pale pink or whitish. Capitula with 9 florets in each. Anthers pink, partially exserted. Apparently a cultivated form of this species; Eupatorium fistulosum normally has glaucous stems and up to 7 florets per capitulum.
