Notes:
Succulent herb with a thick tuber from which the erect aerial inflorescences arise. Leaves with lamina to nearly 5 cm across, orbicular and with depression in centre opposite petiole insertion, shining medium green. Inflor. stems reddish-green, lower larger inflor. leaves toothed. Flowers still in bud mostly, slightly declined or ± horizontal. Bracts oblanceolate-elliptic to linear-subulate, < flowers. Sepals c. 2 mm long, broad ovate. Corolla 7-8 mm long, cylindric, uniformly pale green inside and outside or with red dots outside in distal half on upper side; lobes 1.5-2 mm long, broad ovate. Stamens included. Glands c. 1 mm long, narrow oblong or narrow oblong-elliptic, whitish or red. Seeds very freely and grows spontaneously in pots and crevices.
