Notes:
Rhizomatous herb. Capitula erect. Phyllaries with dark brown pectinate appendages. Outer florets 2-2.5 cm long, mauve-pink, sterile; inner florets c. 1 cm long, mauve-pink; anthers purple, fertile. Plants found over a few square metres only and has grown in this place for many years.
