Notes:
A-sheet - whole plants with young spikelets; B-sheet - stems with fruiting spikelets. Does not fully agree with the description for this species, but the short male spikes, erect female spikes, very long glume awns of both male and female spikes, and the utricle size and morphology all indicate Carex brownii.
