Notes:
This could be called a putative hybrid of Gaultheria antipoda and Gaultheria depressa var. novae-zealandiae. The leaves are small but the plant is 1 m high. Fruits are fleshy white calyces surrounding a dry capsule. Fruiting prolifically. Calyx: 6 mm high and 7 mm wide.
