Habitat:
The plant was nestled in a shallow layer of soil on the rocky side of the river. NW facing river bank slope. Very exposed area (sunny). 45 degree slope. Bare rock area with low plant/shrubbery.

< 30 cm tall. Some individuals smaller. Branchlets and petioles deep red. Few flowers present. Anthers awned. Fruits dry, in raceme.
