Habitat:
In bed of Leptospermums.
Notes:
Shrub c. 1.5 m high with several arching branches; habit straggling because of competition from Leptospermum bushes. Shoots dark purplish. Leaves dark shining green above and with impressed veins and midrib, pale green and floccose beneath. Fruits 5-6 mm long and nearly as wide, very broad obovate-rounded, shining light red when coll. A single plant and c. 40-50 m away from cultivated bushes on the south side of Ellesmere Road.
