Notes:
flowerSheathing stipules, leaves green, yellow & pink variegated. Strongly rhizomatous, with Calystegia silvatica and Hedera helix. Flowers minute in dense spikes; 3 stamens, 3 almost free carpels each with a style. Petals & Sepals 0. Base of spike with 4 white petalloid bracts.
