Herb forming a small clump. Pseudostems to c. 60 cm long, flattened, shining pale green. Leaf lamina to at least 25 x 11 cm, shining pale green or yellowish - green above except for dark green irregular and very broken streaks and bands; main veins raised; lower surface dull pale green. Sterile. Cult as this species.
