Notes:
Herb with pseudostems and petioles to c. 80 cm high, these hispid and dark green purple; lamina reddish-purple beneath, pale grey above except for narrow dark green bands along midrib, main veins and margins. Inflor. flattened and distichous with furry brown acuminate spathes. Perianth white, c. 6 mm long, with yellow inside inner segments (staminodes) longest. Probably a form of Ctenanthesetosa.
