Notes:
Large vine or liane. Leaves glaucescent beneath. Flowers on pendent pedicels. Proximal 10 cm of corolla pendent, c. 10 x 5 cm, forming an inflated pale green obovoid structure; middle 5 cm at right angles, pale green and expanding distally; main corolla limb c. 38 x 30 cm in face view, strongly mottled brown and white, very undulate and fragile; base and apex 2-lobed; mouth a narrow slit. Cult. as Aristolochiagigantea.
