Notes:
The material is grown from seed introduced either 1993 or 1994 through the legal channels under the rules of the day from a UK seed company. Sadly, I do not know the orgin. I assume it is Venezuela (most likely) or Colombia (less likely). According to the second edition of Passion Flowers, by John vanderplank of the UK, the species may be endangered in Venezuela.The plant is extremely slow growing, and has taken over ten years to flower, and has not set viable fruit.
