Habitat:
Common amongst the roots of the uplifted root plate of a cyclone toppled Kermadec pohutukawa (Metrosideros kermadecensis) tree lying across road. Associated with Pyrrosa eleagnifolia and Parmotrema reticulatum.
Notes:
Photobiont green, thallus margins distinctly phyllidiate, cyphellae orange to orange-pink when fresh.
