Supplementary remarks:
I have not recorded C. dendroides previously from the North Island. Also present in this collection were Hylocomium splendens (about six stems; =CHR 587432) and Plagiomnion sp. (two stems; segregated and accessioned as CHR 587434).The specimen may have been contaminated after its collection with Pseudoscleropodium purum fide Peter de Lange.
