Notes:
Plant Register ID: 2006/351 The Carex dissita plants are common to occasional through this forest, mixed in with C. lambertiana (common), C. virgata, C. solandri and (rare) C. dipsacea. However, the C. dissita seems to have some plants with utricles on the terminal (male) spike and other plants with the terminal spike purely male. About 3 weeks ago, the ones with mixed terminal spikes seemed to have green fruiting spikes and the ones with a male terminal spike had dark female spikes. This seemed less clear today!
