Notes:
Perennial sprawling herb with thick, elongated, prostrate stems. Leaves prominently veined, indented above and raised beneath. Flowers ± all summer and autumn, ± erect. Pedicels and calyx with simple patent hairs. Petals c. 2 x 1.1-1.2 cm, broad obovate, bright pink with faint whitish veins, emarginate. Anthers and stigmas very pale mauve-pink; latter curling over when fully mature. Seeds very minutely alveolate. Scattered spontaneous plants in various places in garden. Originally planted nearby to this mature plant.
