Habitat:
Spontaneous on rock garden.
Notes:
Glaucous subshrub with slender erect or semi-erect stems to nearly 70 cm high, base ± woody. Leaves not succulent, tending to slope forwards until after maturity when they become ± backward sloping, concave above. Inflor. leaves glaucescent. Involucral glands sub-lunate to obcordate at ends, usually wider than long (length c. 1 mm), becoming orange. A number of plants scattered over the rock garden, originating from seed.
