Supplementary remarks:
Shrub-like plant to 3 or 4 m high, with c. 17 branches from the main "trunk". Leaves below inflor. deep green above, pale beneath. Inflor. 30-35 cm long, tapering gradually, rather narrow (proximally c. 12 cm wide). Corolla deep blue except base of tube, c. 12 mm long; lobes somewhat unequal. Stamens pale pink, long exserted. Style pale pink, > stamens.
