Field det.Submerged in c. 15 cm of very clear and cold water; forming very lose mats above small (c. 30 cm diameter) sedimentary boulder to which it is attached; c. 3 m from emergent and more representative Cratoneuropsis relaxa (AJF 11742 [CHR 581489], g.v.); in close proximity to submerged and emergent Echinodium hispidum, and Plagiomnium novae-zealandiae and submerged Fissidens rigidulus.
