Wet Chionochloa rigida grassland.
Notes:
Olive green colour (some slight glaucous colour at base of lvs on some plants), prominent stipules, generally finer and not quite as robust as A "lomond". This is the only place that I have found A. horrida in Otago although it is likely to occur along the divide. A." lomond" is right up the Dart, at least to the glacier.
