Supplementary remarks:
N.Z. plants which have been referred to R. striatipilum do not agree will with the material available from South Georgia. In general the N.Z. planst are more delicate, have a denser branching pattern, appear to be more resupinate, and have a finer, more translucen hair-point thant the material seen from South Georgia.
