Ref # 01/19/08/02Initially ID'd as Pimelea arenaria By Whaley et al. 2002. (PNA report).This taxa seems to be an erect shrub to 1m tall. Less hairy the P. [Pimelea] arenaria s.s. Other diffs [differences] are fruit oval + white, quadifariously imbricate oboval, non-hairy leaves. Leaf margin scarcely hairy.Seems similar to P. prostrata (or P. urilleana). But more erect & taller. Plus grows in sand dunes. Degree & type of hair different. Petal margin different.
